On my way to work, I used to pass a yoga studio. It started out as a garage, and then suddenly a sign appeared: yoga studio. When I experienced a bore-out, I went there for a trial class. The teacher called it ‘yofit’, I liked her, and I stayed. What did I know? When the studio closed, I found a hatha yoga teacher who inspired me to do the teacher training, and voilà.
Now, with the internet, social media, and online maps, choices are made differently. If you are curious about yoga, you are flooded with dozens of different forms; they are hot/cold, fast/slow, beginner/advanced, and sometimes have exotic names or cryptic descriptions. But what are the differences? And what suits you?
So I have created a yoga tasting for you.
A yoga course for beginners.
Test drives in various forms of yoga.
We start with the basics; a number of commonly used yoga poses that recur in all forms, from easy to difficult. Then you can walk into any yoga class with your head held high, even at the gym. Plus the sun salutation (Surya Namaskar), so you can always practice at home. Followed by 4 classes, each covering a different yoga style.
- Yin / restorative yoga
- Hatha yoga
- Vinyasa yoga
- Yoga Nidra / meditation
And because every yoga teacher does it differently, one of the classes is taught by a different teacher.
So, a course of 5 classes, suitable for all kinds of curious people, taught by two different instructors. Costs € 75. Come in comfortable clothing, or change in the studio. We will take care of the rest.
